Written Words of Comfort

Matthew 16:18 (KJV)

And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.

Isaiah 62:10 (KJV)

Go through, go through the gates; prepare ye the way of the people; cast up, cast up the highways; gather out the stones; lift up a standard for the people.

Psalm 107:16 (KJV)

For he hath broken the gates of brass, and cut the bars of iron in sunder.

Isaiah 45:2 (KJV)

I will go before thee, and make the crooked places straight: I will break in pieces the gates of brass, and cut in sunder the bars of iron:

The Voice of Christ "COME to Me, all you that labor and are burdened, and I will give you rest . The bread which I will give is My Flesh, for the life of the world.

Take you and eat: this is My Body, which shall be broken for you. Do this for the commemoration of Me.

He that eateth My flesh, and drinketh My blood, abideth in Me, and I in him. The words that I have spoken to you are spirit and life.

The Great Reverence With Which We Should Receive Christ The Disciple, THESE are all Your words, O Christ, eternal Truth, though they were not all spoken at one time nor written together in one place. And because they are Yours and true, I must accept them all with faith and gratitude. They are Yours and You have spoken them; they are mine also because You have spoken them for my salvation. Gladly I accept them from Your lips that they may be the more deeply impressed in my heart.

Words of such tenderness, so full of sweetness and love, encourage me; but my sins frighten me and an unclean conscience thunders at me when approaching such great mysteries as these.

The sweetness of Your words invites me, but the multitude of my vices oppresses me. You command me to approach You confidently if I wish to have part with You, and to receive the food of immortality if I desire to obtain life and glory everlasting. "Come to me," You say, "all you that labor and are burdened, and I will Give You Rest.

Oh, how sweet and kind to the ear of the sinner is the word by which You, my Lord God, invite the poor and needy to receive

Your most holy Body! Who am I, Lord, that I should presume to approach You? Behold, the heaven of heavens cannot contain You, and yet You say: "Come, all of you, to Me.

What means this most gracious honor and this friendly invitation? How shall I dare to come, I who am conscious of no good on which to presume?

How shall I lead You into my house, I who have so often offended in Your most kindly sight?

Angels and archangels revere You, the holy and the just fear You, and You say: "Come to Me: all of you!" If You, Lord, had not said it, who would have believed it to be true? And if You had not commanded, who would dare approach?

Behold, Noah, a just man, worked a hundred years building the ark that he and a few others might be saved; how, then, can I prepare myself in one hour to receive with reverence the Maker of the world?

Moses, Your great servant and special friend, made an ark of incorruptible wood which he covered with purest gold wherein to place the tables of Your law; shall I, a creature of corruption, dare so easily to receive You, the Maker of law and the Giver of life?

Solomon, the wisest of the kings of Israel, spent seven years building a magnificent temple in praise of Your name, and celebrated its dedication with a feast of eight days. He offered a thousand victims in Your honor and solemnly bore the Ark of the Covenant with trumpeting and jubilation to the place prepared for it; and I, unhappy and poorest of men, how shall I lead You into my house, I who scarcely can spend a half-hour devoutly_ would that I could spend even that as I ought!

O my God, how hard these men tried to please You! Alas, how little is all that I do! How short the time I spend in preparing for Communion! I am seldom wholly recollected, and very seldom, indeed, entirely free from distraction. Yet surely in the presence of Your life-giving Godhead no unbecoming thought should arise and no creature possess my heart, for I am about to receive as my guest, not an angel, but the very Lord of angels.

Very great, too, is the difference between the Ark of the Covenant with its treasures and Your most pure Body with its ineffable virtues, between these sacrifices of the law which were but figures of things to come and the true offering of Your Body which was the fulfillment of all ancient sacrifices. Why, then, do I not long more ardently for Your adorable presence? Why do I not prepare myself with greater care to receive Your sacred gifts, since those holy patriarchs and prophets of old, as well as kings and princes with all their people, have shown such affectionate devotion for the worship of God?

The most devout King David danced before the ark of God with all his strength as he recalled the benefits once bestowed upon his fathers. He made musical instruments of many kinds. He composed psalms and ordered them sung with joy. He himself often played upon the harp when moved by the grace of the Holy Ghost. He taught the people of Israel to praise God with all their hearts and to raise their voices every day to bless and glorify Him.

If such great devotion flourished in those days and such ceremony in praise of God before the Ark of the Covenant, what great devotion ought not I and all Christian people now show in the presence of this Sacrament; what reverence in receiving the most excellent Body of Christ!

Many people travel far to honor the relics of the saints, marveling at their wonderful deeds and at the building of magnificent shrines. They gaze upon and kiss the sacred relics encased in silk and gold; and behold, You are here present before me on the altar, my God, Saint of saints, Creator of men, and Lord of angels!

Often in looking at such things, men are moved by curiosity, by the novelty of the unseen, and they bear away little fruit for the amendment of their lives, especially when they go from place to place lightly and without true contrition.

But here in the Sacrament of the altar You are wholly present, my God, the man Christ Jesus, whence is obtained the full realization of eternal salvation, as often as You are worthily and devoutly received. To this, indeed, we are not drawn by levity, or curiosity, or sensuality, but by firm faith, devout hope, and sincere love.

O God, hidden Creator of the world, how wonderfully You deal with us! How sweetly and graciously You dispose of things with Your elect to whom You offer Yourself to be received in this Sacrament! This, indeed, surpasses all understanding.

This in a special manner attracts the hearts of the devout and inflames their love. Your truly faithful servants, who give their whole life to amendment, often receive in Holy Communion the great grace of devotion and love of virtue. Oh, the wonderful and hidden grace of this Sacrament which only the faithful of Christ understand, which unbelievers and slaves of sin cannot experience!

In it spiritual grace is conferred, lost virtue restored, and the beauty, marred by sin, repaired. At times, indeed, its grace is so great that, from the fullness of the devotion, not only the mind but also the frail body feels filled with greater strength.

Nevertheless, our neglect and coldness is much to be deplored and pitied, when we are not moved to receive with greater fervor Christ in Whom is the hope and merit of all who will be saved. He is our sanctification and redemption. He is our consolation in this life and the eternal joy of the blessed in heaven.

This being true, it is lamentable that many pay so little heed to the salutary Mystery which fills the heavens with joy and maintains the whole universe in being.

Oh, the blindness and the hardness of the heart of man that does not show more regard for so wonderful a gift, but rather falls into carelessness from its daily use!

If this most holy Sacrament were celebrated in only one place and consecrated by only one priest in the whole world, with what great desire, do you think, would men be attracted to that place, to that priest of God, in order to witness the celebration of the divine Mysteries!

But now there are many priests and Mass is offered in many places, that God's grace and love for men may appear the more clearly as the Sacred Communion is spread more widely through the world.

Thanks be to You, Jesus, everlasting Good Shepherd, Who have seen fit to feed us poor exiled people with Your precious Body and Blood, and to invite us with words from Your own lips to partake of these sacred Mysteries: "Come to Me, all you who labor and are burdened, and I will refresh you."

When Christ was saying those words to Peter...Matt 16:13, Christ was expressing the attributes of God the Father to this individual.

As he said these words to Peter, many have took it that Peter himself was the rock that Jesus was speaking about.

I believe, like on writer said, this could not be farther from the truth.

Peter was an individual, just as those that come to Jesus Christ, who put their trust and faith in.

When we look back in time, those that is mentioned above, in the depiction of man, as he believed in the coming of Jesus Christ, those who walked through many obstacles, those who, as Hebrew describes in the Eleventh Chapter...Hebrews 11:39 (KJV)

And these all, having obtained a good report through faith, received not the promise:

Just what was this promise that those that walked before, the forefathers that is mentioned in Hebrews 11:39?.

This Promise is nothing else, nor indeed cannot be no other than the Holy Ghost.

The Holy Ghost has been in the world since the beginning of the creation of the world, yet, when Adam and Eve were driven out of the Garden of Eden, man was separated from God the Father through the disobedience of Adam and Eve.

God has appeared to many before, yet many have attested that when Angels appeared unto them, that they would identify those angels as God, or as God’s Presence came to them, by these Angels coming into their presence.

We cannot find that God came into the presence of any of the men of old, other than through the Appearance that is like unto the Son of Man.

Daniel 3:25 (KJV)

He answered and said, Lo, I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire, and they have no hurt; and the form of the fourth is like the Son of God.

This King was allowed to see the one that appeared like a son of God.

The Angels were called... “Sons of God”... Job 1:6 (KJV)

Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the Lord, and Satan came also among them.

How can it be that Satan came among the Sons of God?.

Satan is always depicted as the Fallen Angel, that is a true statement , yet we must realize that when Angels appeared to the forefathers they were Able to eat the same Food that those in that day, ate.

Genesis 18:2-8 (KJV)

And he lift up his eyes and looked, and, lo, three men stood by him: and when he saw them, he ran to meet them from the tent door, and bowed himself toward the ground, [3] And said, My Lord, if now I have found favour in thy sight, pass not away, I pray thee, from thy servant: [4] Let a little water, I pray you, be fetched, and wash your feet, and rest yourselves under the tree: [5] And I will fetch a morsel of bread, and comfort ye your hearts; after that ye shall pass on: for therefore are ye come to your servant. And they said, So do, as thou hast said. [6] And Abraham hastened into the tent unto Sarah, and said, Make ready quickly three measures of fine meal, knead it, and make cakes upon the hearth. [7] And Abraham ran unto the herd, and fetcht a calf tender and good, and gave it unto a young man; and he hasted to dress it. [8] And he took butter, and milk, and the calf which he had dressed, and set it before them; and he stood by them under the tree, and they did eat.

These three men, these were the Angels of God, and, in essence, these were God’s servants bringing the message of God, or the Promise of God to Abraham.

We could conclude that Sarah, received the promise, yet this was not the promise that Hebrews was talking about.

The Promise was Jesus Christ coming to redeem fallen man back to God the Father, to take fallen man, and bring him, once again, into the presence of God the father, just as Adam and Eve was in the paradise of God and heard the Voice of the Lord, in the cool of the day...Genesis 3:8 (KJV)

And they heard the voice of the Lord God walking in the garden in the cool of the day: and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the Lord God amongst the trees of the garden.

We must understand that Satan, being an Angel, could come in to the presence of God, when Angels came to receive or report things that were going on in the earth...Genesis 28:12 (KJV)

And he dreamed, and behold a ladder set up on the earth, and the top of it reached to heaven: and behold the angels of God ascending and descending on it.

1 Samuel 28:13 (KJV)

And the king said unto her, Be not afraid: for what sawest thou? And the woman said unto Saul, I saw gods ascending out of the earth.

When the words were written...1 Tim. 3:16 (KJV)

And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory... these words describe to the reader a deeper meaning to what is the mystery of both God and Satan.

Paul, he made it clear that Satan transformed himself...2 Cor. 11:14 (KJV)

And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.

This Angel of light, can only be the one that is foretold in...Isaiah 14:13-14 (KJV)

For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north: [14] I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High.

Satan has a Promise that he would like you and I to receive, this promise is that he wants to be like the most high, he wants to be God, or to be like God.

We know that Satan can never be like God, Satan is a murder and a liar...Psalm 10:8 (KJV)

He sitteth in the lurking places of the villages: in the secret places doth he murder the innocent: his eyes are privily set against the poor.

John 8:44 (KJV)

Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.

Clearly we can begin to realize that when Adam and Eve, Eve, especially heard Satan make a promise to her, this promise did not bring eternal life, this promise brought death.

When Adam and Eve had the first Child, Satan’s Promise to Eve was fulfilled in her Son Cain.

Cain rose up and Murdered his brother, that is his brother in the flesh.

Had God, at this point of time, not have left us another seed, then truly Satan would have been victorious and would have achieved his goal, to rid God from his presence altogether.

Just as Jesus stood there among those that took the Law of God and, with that Law, they made, and laid burdens upon all that came into the Temple to know God, they took dominion over them, and commanded them to bow down unto those that were in authority, which took the Law, or the Letter and killed the Spirit of Many that would have had eternal life.

You must realize that Satan, as Paul stated, being Transformed into an Angel of light, was these Pharisee’s that was standing there in front of the Son of God.

Again, when the sons of God came into the Presence of God, Satan came among them.

Judas was a Son of Perdition...John 17:12 (KJV)

While I was with them in the world, I kept them in thy name: those that thou gavest me I have kept, and none of them is lost, but the son of perdition; that the scripture might be fulfilled.

Here again we see the Sons of God, walking among the believers and among the Angels that ministered to Jesus Christ.

How can I make, or get you the reader to realize that Satan is the Flesh, or is in the Flesh, just as Jesus was in the Flesh, Satan has transformed himself into the flesh.

Cain was a seed of Satan, and the fulfillment of the Promise Satan,...Genesis 3:4-5 (KJV)

And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die: [5] For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.

Just what would make on in the flesh, as God’s?.

Just what was this Tree?

This Tree was none other than the Laws of the Commandants of God, that he, Satan had broken and departed from in the reign of Satan over the Angels on the earth, before Adam was ever formed of the dust.

Do you think that Satan came to Eve and, and came without any knowledge of any sort?, I don’t think so.

Satan knew the Law of God and knew that that tree was the Law of God and how well did he know the results of the effect of the Law of God...2 Cor. 3:6 (KJV)

Who also hath made us able ministers of the new testament; not of the letter, but of the spirit: for the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life.

Take for a moment, an individual that breaks the Law, lets say that he rapes or kill’s someone, just what is the first thing he is, or has a right to... To be represented by an Attorney, and that one that represents him, will do all in his power to get him off the hook.

The Law, if on studies and makes it his or her, career, can certainly open the eyes of any individual to know both Good and Evil, just as Satan told Eve there in the Garden of Eden.

Let me say to the reader that if you want to know about the laws of the land, you would hire an attorney or would go to the law to find the answer to whatever you need to know.

You could and would use the Law, being a accused felon, you would use the Law to set yourself free from the punishment.

Just what would have happened if Adam and eve would have went to the other Tree that was in the mist of the other Tree’s, the Tree of Life...Genesis 2:9 (KJV)

And out of the ground made the Lord God to grow every tree that is pleasant to the sight, and good for food; the tree of life also in the midst of the garden, and the tree of knowledge of good and evil.

Genesis 3:22 (KJV)

And the Lord God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil: and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever:

Adam and Eve, had they repented and went to the Lord and asked forgiveness, do you think that they would have been able to eat of the Tree of Life?.

God had to preserve this Tree of Life, and the reason was, Satan had entered the Flesh, in Adam and Eve, and had they been able to eat of the Tree of Life, Satan would have become like God.

Flesh would have stayed in the presence of God the Father and would have taken with it, Satan.

This is the only way that Satan could Ascend, and become like unto God.

Satan could ascend in the form of Man, just as Jesus came in the form of Man.

This is what Satan has attempted to do ever since he Came in the Flesh, in the son of Adam.

Cain was his seed and his seed has taken the Laws of God and caused Enmity to be between the seed of God and the seed of his.

Judas was on of his Seed.

Satan was there in the Pharisee’s, standing in the presence of God, in Jesus Christ.

Satan was still attaining to the fact that through the Flesh, God’s creation, in the likeness of God, and believing that he could eliminate God’s Spirit out of Mankind all-together.

The ultimate battle was fought there on the day that Jesus hang on the Cross, Satan had thought that he would take the Law and kill the Heir of God, and in doing so he would rid God completely out of the Heart of Man and Woman.

Satan then would be as God.

We are warned that those that set themselves up as Lords over the Flock...1 Peter 5:3 (KJV)

Neither as being lords over God's heritage, but being ensamples to the flock.

There are many Lord’s and Gods...1 Cor. 8:5 (KJV)

For though there be that are called gods, whether in heaven or in earth, (as there be gods many, and lords many,)

He is talking about those that are the seed of Satan and who love to rule over mankind and bring into bondage those that are ignorant to the real God.

Satan has and is still promising to those that are determined to be like Gods, those that want to do their own thing, they will follow his pernicious ways...2 Peter 2:2 (KJV)

And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of.

The way of Truth, this is what the Holy Ghost brought to this world and this truth is the Promise of God.

In the days of the forefathers, they looked for the promise and had to serve, and offer up sacrifices, they served ordnances.

These were looking afar off to a promise, and until that promise that they looked for, unless it came to them in the form of Flesh, to become a Sacrifice for the Sins of the World, this Promise that you and I now have access to, this promise, they died and did not receive it in their lifetime on earth.

You and I have this promise and this Promise is not afar Off, this promise is as close as our Lips...Hosea 14:2 (KJV)

Take with you words, and turn to the Lord: say unto him, Take away all iniquity, and receive us graciously: so will we render the calves of our lips.

This is what Jesus was saying to Peter.

Upon this Promise, “I will build my Church” and the Gates of Hell, shall not Prevail against it.

This Promise shook the foundations of every Soul that comes to God and turns around that individual and makes all thing become New...2 Cor. 5:17 (KJV)

Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

Jesus was saying to Peter...Luke 22:32 (KJV)

But I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not: and when thou art converted, strengthen thy brethren.

Jesus was saying, “I can take anyone, like you Peter, and build a Church that Satan cannot have part in, but first peter, you need some equipment to fight this battle with.

The Equipment that you have, you need to put up in the sheath...John 18:11 (KJV)

Then said Jesus unto Peter, Put up thy sword into the sheath: the cup which my Father hath given me, shall I not drink it?

You see, Peter, This Cup that I have drank from, you shall drink of the same, and after you...Acts 1:4 (KJV)

And, being assembled together with them, commanded them that they should not depart from Jerusalem, but wait for the promise of the Father, which, saith he, ye have heard of me.

Thank God for the Holy Ghost, this Holy Ghost is God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Ghost.

This God, defeated Satan and Closed the Gates to Heaven to Satan, and opened a door to all that will come to Jesus.

Rev. 3:7 (KJV)

And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write; These things saith he that is holy, he that is true, he that hath the key of David, he that openeth, and no man shutteth; and shutteth, and no man openeth;

Satan opened a Gate to Hell, when he convinced Eve to partake of the Tree, and today, many ore looking the way of the Law and the Flesh and putting their hope in the flesh, those that Glory in the Flesh...2 John 1:7 (KJV)

For many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist.

1 Peter 4:6 (KJV)

For for this cause was the gospel preached also to them that are dead, that they might be judged according to men in the flesh, but live according to God in the spirit.

Philip. 3:3 (KJV)

For we are the circumcision, which worship God in the spirit, and rejoice in Christ Jesus, and have no confidence in the flesh.

Listen, my friend, have no confidence in the flesh, for this will get you a ticket to dissapointment and dispair.

I will rejoice in the lord
